Inspiring Space grew from the creativity and experiences of founder Allison Stern. After two decades of leading and growing a thriving design and manufacturing business, Allison tired of the ongoing struggle to balance external and internal demands as they competed with her health and well-being.<\/p>\n
Determined to succeed by expanding her knowledge and leadership skills, she hired a number of business advisors, including an executive coach. This initial experience with coaching launched Allison on a journey of professional and personal exploration, which led to a turning point.<\/p>\n
Finding the world of coaching, leadership, and facilitation both motivating and compelling, Allison ultimately decided to close her design and manufacturing business and open her own coaching practice.<\/p>\n
Her goal: to help other leaders and business owners reignite their passion and avoid the burnout she\u2019d experienced by learning new skills and gaining new perspectives.<\/p>\n
Her method: to foster a sense of ease, support, and freedom\u2014an inspiring inner space\u2014within and between individuals, teams, boards, and organizations. Through training and coaching, Allison helps transform intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships in support of learning and change.<\/p>\n
Established in 2002, Inspiring Space has since developed a track record of helping individuals, teams, and organizations meet their goals by acquiring new means of personal growth, positive collaboration, engagement, sustainability, profitability, and regeneration.<\/p>\n
Allison\u2019s formal education includes a BA in design from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and an MA and PhD from Saybrook University in Organizational Systems. Allison is trained and certified in a variety of assessments, tools, and models, including Co-Active Coaching (CPCC), Organizational and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSCC), Theory U, Immunity to Change, The Leadership Circle, Team Diagnostic, and Positive Psychology, among others.<\/p>\n
